Account Executive - Soft Skills

BizXcel is a training, consulting and business intelligence company which provides products and services to improve organizations’ planning, people and processes so they can achieve optimal performance.

We are growing and expanding, and have opened an office in Syracuse, NY. We are searching for an up and coming, ambitious Account Executive to build our momentum in the marketplace. This position plays a key role in growing new client relationships in our US market and ensuring customer satisfaction within their accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell, sell, sell! Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of clients who consistently buy and become a passionate tribe of clients who understand the importance of building a kick ass company

  • Truly understand who we are as an organization; Connect your energy for what we do with your prospecting and rapport building skills to explore potential clients needs, and how BizXcel can continue to build momentum in their business; Match this with how we can provide people change experiences with them

  • Manage the entire sales cycle – this includes prospecting, producing proposals, sales presentations, closing the deal, and all client participation. Provide the full package sales experience

  • Demonstrate consistent and effective communication through face to face customer visits, personalized emails, telephone calls and follow contact

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and other KPI’s to continue our growth momentum

  • Contribute to the Sales and Marketing team by working closely together and supplying information on industry awareness

  • Live your exceptional customer service standard! Respond in a timely manner to messages and providing accurate, timely information to clients as requested

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable collections and customer maintenance as needed

  • Travel to networking events/tradeshows/conferences as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Maintains an energy that lives our brand, through the entire sales process. Strong attention to detail and active listening skills

  • Experience successfully selling consultative services and related products

  • Exceptional and effective communication skills used to maximize to gather prospect/client information, as well as written, conversational and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated experience using customer relationship management (CRM) tools to communicate the sales cycle

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to think fast and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment and/or under pressure

  • Successful consultative selling is a must
