The extension is very easy to implement, easy to use and can be leveraged across all your business departments.

With Write!, you’re now able to process data directly in Qlik® which means you can create new data records quickly and easily that automatically write back to the database. The manual collection of data is no longer necessary since there is full integration through the development of native Qlik® API’s. These API’s allow for data exchange between your different business departments, eliminating the need for double master data storage or data maintenance and potential extra costs for an external planning tool.

HBPO Case Study

In a case study completed by HBPO it was determined that the implementation of the Write! extensions to their Qlik® interface directly resulted in a reduction of time required for analysis and planning and optimization of data quality and knowledge.

An additional case study from Lufthansa saw a half day per month of time savings by eliminating the need for manual entry of planning data. Health Care

Many hospitals are finding many ways to navigate and manipulate their data directly in Qlik Sense® with the Write Edit! functionality.

Write! Edit displays real time hospital counts, free beds, occupied beds and easily allows users to create new stations or wards and assign beds to them. It also allows users to create unique patient ID’s and complete patient admissions all right within the application.

Users can also complete tasks such as adding beds in wards and stations and jump right into a bed in the application and update them in real time. Add a new patient, update patient record or parameters such as critical or not, release patient, and so much more.

Workflows and approvals as well as patient management happens right in the application with associative modelling ensuring high data quality and connectedness.

Delivery Companies

Delivery companies are also finding many uses for the Write! Plan function. Write Plan shows the user the total deliveries, number of packages, locations, deliveries per city, etc. In real time you can see how many deliverers are on the road, their location, open deliveries (white tag), deliveries complete (yellow tag), current delivery (green tag) and deliveries to be completed (red tag) .

Write! Plan also shows you the estimated time of package delivery and notifies when a delivery is complete. Additionally, the Plan dashboard instantly updates and suggests new route optimizations for upcoming deliveries. Use the History table to look back and view routes, who edited the data, when the data was edited and where, and more. 

Write! Plan is fully secure and permissions can be set to limit or add who is able to edit and change their data or the data of others.
